Reading: "Despite the Failed Assassination Attempt on Hitler: Generals Proclaim Peace Government," the WWII propaganda leaflet was distributed by the Allies, following the July 20, 1944, assassination attempt on Hitler. Aiming at demoralizing German troops and highlighting the inevitable German defeat, it encouraged surrender by promoting a supposed peace movement among German generals.
