Belfast / New York: William Liddell and Company, 1893. Very good. Leaflet; 7 1/4 x 5 1/2; off-white card stock, printed in black and illustrated with a photograph and small vignettes; small repair toverso of lower right corner; a few minor spots; in very good condition.Published as an advertisement for William Liddell & Co. at the World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago in 1893, the leaflet drew attention to the historic Irish linen manufacturer, known for their subtle luxury and fine craftsmanship. The company was founded by William Liddell in 1866 in the small Irish village of Donaghcloney. Among other things, it would become famous for supplying the linen for the fated Titanics first-class passengers.
