A wide-ranging and highly important activist publication of the period, with issues in this group addressing the rise of the Black Panther Party (the original group in Lowndes County as well as the much larger and more enduring Oakland incarnation); much coverage of the farmworker struggle, the anti-Vietnam War movement, student activism on various fronts, and much more.
