From the library of noted poet, translator, and anthropologist Nathaniel Tarn (1928-2024), with Vol.2 bearing his neat pencil markings and notations throughout the text. Vol.1 is Fine in a Near Fine dustjacket, unclipped (priced $30.00), with some light wear along the upper edge, and the errata sheet laid in. Vol.2 has a bit of a reverse lean, some softening to spine ends, light finger-soil to text edges; Very Good+ in a VG+, unclipped dustjacket, gently spine-sunned, edgeworn, lightly dust-soiled, with tiny nicks to spine ends. Singleton's translation of Purgatorio, with Vol.1 containing the text and translation, and Vol.2 containing commentary. Part of the Bollingen Series. 88509.
