S. l. : California Mission Trails Association Ltd., 1938. Very good. A fan-out set of teardrop-shaped maps, affixed to each other with a small rivet; approx. 4 1/2" in diameter; pp. [16]; pictorial wraps in blue and yellow; maps to rectos, text to versos; slight crease/wriple through middle and light wear to edges; in very good condition. Prepared as a souvenir for the Mission Trails Building at the 1939 Golden Gate Exposition, the set presented "America's Most Beautiful 400 Miles" along California's scenic coast highways - the state's Mission Trails between San Francisco and Los Angeles. Each sheet showed a pictorial, topographic county map with its major roads, towns, landmarks, etc., while each verso included a short description of the respective county.
