S. l. (Chicago): s. n., 1893. Very good. Fifteen cards on loose sheets of thinner paper stock, in ones and twos per sheet (different, but for one duplicate); sheets with crop marks to corners; lithographed images - 3 1/2 x 2 1/2; generally minor wear, with some of the sheets trimmed closer to images than others - in very good condition. A lovely group of proofs, depicting various buildings at the Columbian Exposition, eventually they would be issued by the Winters Art Litho Company as souvenir playing cards from the world's fair, with added captions (no captions on the current ones). The images included the buildings of New York, Virginia, Maine, the Women's Building, etc.
