Original decorated wrappers with a large embossed illustration of a golden pair of scissors on the front cover and a woman sitting side saddle on a horse on the rear cover. Paris Imprimerie du Succes, 1914. A handsome copy of this satirical view of the high life in Paris on the eve of World War One. The illustrations in color and black and white including mounted photos include pictures of cars, interior design and fashion along with several advertising pages of French luxury, restaurants, champagne, and perfume. Wear to the wrappers, as well as a small stain to rear wrapper, otherwise a fine copy.
