A small (4 1/4 x 5 3/8 inches; 106 x 134 mm) paper with the clef, key signature and six notes from the song "It's De-Lovely" hand-drawn in black ink and underneath signed "Cole Porter" along with the lyrics "It's d'lovely". The verso (not seen in frame) with notes stating "Commander R.N. HMS Repulse, 6th Sept, 1926." Matted, framed and glazed in a circle mat alongside a photographic portrait of Porter. Photo is (8 x 6 inches; 200 x 153 mm). Black wooden frame is (16 1/4 x 14 1/4 inches; 413 x 364 mm). Paper lightly toned in a circle shape to match matting. Overall about fine.

"Cole Albert Porter (June 9, 1891 - October 15, 1964) was an American composer and songwriter. Many of his songs became standards noted for their witty, urbane lyrics, and many of his scores found success on Broadway and in Hollywood films... t's De-Lovely" is one of Cole Porter's hit songs, originally appearing in his 1936 musical, Red Hot and Blue. It was introduced by Ethel Merman and Bob Hope. The song was later used in the musical Anything Goes." (Wikipedia)
