Original paper cabinet box set of fairy tales by the Danish master of the form, featuring double-door openings and twelve miniature volumes. Titles include: "The Nightingale," "The Darning Needle," "The Red Shoes," "The Happy Family," "The Steadfast Tin Soldier," "The Old House," "The Wild Swans" (split into 2 volumes), "What the Old Man Does is Always Right," "Little Ida's Flowers," "It's Perfectly True," and "The Jumpers." This is the second such set by this publisher with new fairy tales not included in set one. 6'' x 5.25'' x 2.25'' (box); 3.25'' x 2'' (books). Original color pictorial box with larger door that opens onto a cabinet, within which are housed twelve booklets in paper boards, about 30 pages each. Illustrated in color. Light wear to box, with shallow chip to top label, a couple concave creases to sides. Books bright and clean.
