Each section of each volume has its own pagination, we estimate each volume to be approximately 375 pages. Illustrated from engraved plates. Brown morocco boards decoratively stamped in dark brown, spines with raised bands creating six compartments each repeating an Aldine leaf device stamped in dark brown save for the second and fourth from the top which have the title and volume respectively stamped in gilt, board edges striped in blind continuing onto the turn-ins, all page edges gilt, and cream colored endpapers. Boards and spines show a bit of wear, a number written on the front pastedown of each volume, and an owner name on the front free endpaper of each volume, overall very good or better with the hinges sound and the interiors remarkably clean.
