A beautifully executed reproduction of the original illuminated manuscript which was originally produced in 1946. Bound in ¼ black cloth over cream paper covered boards with lettering and decorations, raised spine lettering gilt. Absolutely fine without names, bookplates rubbing or bumping. Since 1969, Joe D'Ambrosio has worked as an artist within the book medium. He writes, sets type, prints, designs, does the artwork, and binds the work in his special creative bindings. The book becomes a total work of art combining many spectrums of fine art and book mediums. Bound in 1/4 black cloth over cream paper covered boards with raised lettering. A fine copy.
