Detroit, MI: Stearns, Perfumer (ie. Stearns & Co.), 1902. Very good. First edition; 4 1/2 x 3 1/2; pp. [8]; unusual, semi-transparent, glassine wraps, printed in red; illustrated with a lithographed image and a photograph; a few light ceases to wraps; last leaf's lower corner clipped (resulting in loss of a few letters on the last page); overall in very good condition. Frederick Stearns & Company was a prominent 19th- and early 20th-century pharmaceutical and perfume manufacturer in Detroit, Michigan, established in 1855. Alongside fragrances, Stearns would also manufacture the Suprema Cream advertised here as "...made on scientific principles and doing wonders for any complection...if used correctly."
