Jacket has moderate soiling and some foxing and edge-wear Modest paper adhesion from jacket on cover lettering as well as stronger offsetting of titling to inside of jacket. An earnest novel, in need of some editiing, about racism, passing, etc. -- we did not not read it carefully and found no synopsis online. OCLC locates 11 copies. We suspect that Wakimoto is a pseudonym but have no information about the author's real name or racial identity.
