The Esopus Foundation was a nonprofit organization founded in 2003 with the mission of providing an unmediated space through which artists, writers, musicians, and other creative professionals could connect directly with the general public. The Foundation was primarily devoted to creating 25 issues of the award-winning arts periodical Esopus; publishing a range of books and artists' editions; and mounting more than 100 events and exhibitions. The legal dissolution of the Foundation occurred in 2025.
