Pamphlet. 60p., stapled in illustrated wraps with Chiquita banana stickers as the stars in a U.S. flag whose stripes are enveloping Guatemala's flag, essays along with a panel transcript and an open letter to President Johnson from the Guatemalan Association of University Students, bibliography, 8x6 inches; minor staining to edges of text block, some rubbing along spine, otherwise in very good condition. "Membership in this Committee is open to people who have served in a volunteer capacity in developing countries" (p. 5), including Peace Corp, NGOs, etc. Detailed study of the role of U.S. imperialism in the Civil War and the status of peasant/worker resistance, demanding an end to interventionist foreign policy.
