Four charming drawings have been added to blank pages by a former owner, including an amusing illustration of a woman being laced into a corset, labeled "Endurance." 10.5'' x 8.75''. Original green cloth with gilt stamped titles and designs. 24 full-page chromolithographs. [74] leaves, printed one side only. Several pencil drawings tipped onto blanks. Gilt somewhat faded, with repairs to edges and joints. Endpapers renewed. Pages uniformly lightly toned, with some soil and occasional light offsetting from illustrations. Plates vivid.
