An examination of this important group of artists whose work was demonized and in some cases destroyed by the Nazis. Includes numerous color and black and white illustrations after works by Max Beckmann, Marc Chagall, Otto Dix, George Grosz, Wassily Kandinsky, Paul Klee, Oskar Koskoschka, Wilhelm Lehmbruck and numerous others. A very good plus copy in French style wrappers with some minor wear but internally a clean copy.. A powerful book. Please note that this is a heavy book and will require extra shipping.
