This issue includes "Negro Priests Speak Their Minds," by Rollins E. Lambert at pages 11-15. Father Lambert was born in Chicago and is described as having African American and Cherokee ancestry. He became an advisor on African Affairs to the U. S. Conference of Catholic Bishops in 1975 and appears to have served in that capacity for about a dozen years. He died in 2009.
