Clarence Green and His "Housekeeper" Bettina Green, Who Were Arrested in Atlantic City, N.J., and Brought to New York to Answer Charges of Participating in the Kidnapping of Charles M. Rosenthal, Long Island Boy Broker. Bettina is Said to Been the Decoy that Lured Rosenthal t the Kidnappers. (E-Sept. 1-31). Bettina, described as a "mulatto" and as one "whose complexion gives no clue to her race" in the New York Times article on Oct. 16, 1931 article about the results of the trial, was acquitted. The four male kidnappers on trial were convicted, none of whom were named Clarence Green. We know nothing further about Clarence or Bettina.
