Jacket clean and crisp with very faint rubbing along bottom rear edge. Boards sturdy and square; binding sound and pages unmarked. Slipcase solid with no bumps or splits.

Signed by illustrator John Anthony Di Giovanni on colophon at rear. Benchley's classic novel of a great white shark stalking the shoreline of a fictional Long Island town. Basis for Stephen Spielberg's film of the same name, which went on to become the first summer blockbuster, as well as the progenitor of the hit-and-(largely)-miss sharksploitation genre.
