Vote on the Woman Suffrage Ballot First and Be Sure You Vote Yes

North Dakota had several 19th-century attempts at women's suffrage which all failed to pass. The League was established in 1912 and pushed another referendum in 1914. It, too, failed to pass. North Dakota was the twentieth state to ratify the 19th Amendment in 1919, finally granting the vote to women.
