UFO Contact from Planet Acart: From Utopia to Reality
- Tucson, AZ: UFO Photo Archives, 1987
A UFO contactee's account of his abduction and adventures on another world for eleven days in 1958. The region of southern Brazil he lived in experienced a wave of European immigrants during and after WWII, especially (like the author's father) from Germany. This would come in handy as reportedly his abductors spoke perfect German. The long shadow of Thomas Malthus apparently traveling through space and preceding our narrator, they told him that the primary danger facing their world was overpopulation, but that they had solved other problems through the use of nuclear power, eliminating money and living in a peaceful, prosperous one-world government. Berlet's 422-page manuscript of his experiences was originally written in his native Portuguese in pencil.
