[Cabinet Card photograph]: Cherubic Tow-Headed Toddler Dressed in Base Ball Gear

Allentown, Pa: O. H. Gernert, 1870. Unbound. Fine. Gelatin silver cabinet card, image measuring 4" x 5.5", on a slightly larger card mount. Subject unidentified. Photographer's marks on front and rear of mount. Just about fine. A fair-haired little boy of approximately three years old, stands completely outfitted for base ball and , wields a fearsome, albeit size-appropriate base ball bat. The photographer's copy on the verso notes: "Instantaneous Portraits of Children a Successful Specialty". Very nice.
