A collection of 12 portfolios from this series, each with 16 full color plates (one being on the cover), including Degas, Gauguin, Cezanne, Great Landscapes, Masterpieces of Italian Paintings, Michelangelo, Renoir, Rouault, Titian, Toulouse-Lautrec, Van Gogh, and Velazquez. Each with an introductory essay and commentary on the plates. Each portfolio housed in clear mylar. Light and Color by Charles P. Parkhurst, a staple-bound, full-color booklet with several illustrations, is laid-in. The copyright page of the Degas is creased. Some covers and pages show light soiling or toning, and some have small tears or creasing to the mylar, but all plates are in fine condition.
