Original cloth, neatly rebacked with a cloth spine and corners and new endpapers. Complete, including the oft-lacking folding geological map. A few small marginal cellotape repairs, map of Red Bank split cleanly along vertical fold and with very small hole costing a couple of letters, occasional very small fold splits, else a very good copy. Atlas of the entire New Jersey coast, extending from Sandy Hook south to Cape May and including the coasts of Monmouth, Ocean, Atlantic, and Cape May Counties. Compiled by T.F. Rose, T.T. Price, and Bernard Connolly, with surveys by H.C. Woolman. The largest and most lavish of the 19th century New Jersey atlases, with scores of wonderful colored maps and lithographed views of local towns, houses, and street scenes in the counties covered.
