Guide to local landmarks and history for participants in an anti-nuclear walk held on October 1, 1983. Introduction by Kevin Akin, longtime Peace and Freedom Party activist and Riverside native, who discusses the significance of many landmarks to the anti-Vietnam War movement, and with an afterword by congressman George E. Brown Jr. Thoroughly illustrated with images taken from early local newspapers. Back cover features Akin's silkscreen emblem for the Nuclear Freeze Walk, based on a Chinese stamp featuring Picasso's dove.
