Bogotá: Instituto Distrital de Patrimonio Cultural, 2007. b/w plates., ports., cat., bio/chron., boards., translucent, .d.j. Book dedicated to celebrated photojournalist Manuel "Hache" Rodríguez (b. Colombia 1920) the main photographer of the riots of the "Bogotazo" (April 9, 1948). His passion for bullfighting is reflected in his historic portraits of bullfighters "Manolete", Paco Camino and Luis M. Dominguín, soccer teams, comic Cantinflas and famous personages Gabriel Garcia Marquez, the king and queen of Spain, and actress Lucia Bosé. But his photographic legacy is more than bulls and loots, he immortalized a city now lost to growth and development where horses and donkeys were still part of the urban landscape and women conquered their right to vote.
