Boston: J.E. Hinckley and Company, 1834. 12pp. Original printed wrappers [some chips and a few closed tears, minor foxing], stitched. Very Good.

Appleton, the Massachusetts industrialist, headed the Boston Committee. It protests "the measures of the President in the removal of the deposites from the Bank of the United States, and in assuming entire control over the treasure of the nation." The Committee denounces what it regards as Jackson's dictatorial presidency: "In the present administration the government may in fact be considered a perfect monocracy. The will of one man controls every measure."
