Charleston, S.C.: Edward Perry, Printer and Station, 1872. 17, [1-statistical table] pp. Original printed wrappers [some spotting and discoloration, light edgewear, rear wrap detached], stitched. Text lightly age toned, Good+ to Very Good.

The minutes recite the meeting's business and activities, with a copy of the Association's Constitution and Rules of Decorum. The statistical list contains a detailed list of the churches, the years they were constituted, their delegates and pastors, their post offices, and data including number of black and white members. Nine of the churches note having black members, one having as many as 38 in a church of 116 and another having 38 in a church of 81.
The pamphlet provides an interesting window on Reconstruction, reporting "that courteous and kindly relations still prevail between the white and colored races in our community," and denouncing the "diabolical spirit of political fanaticism" which has turned the United States into the "lawless power" of an "irresponsible democracy."
