First Edition thus, one of 135 copies, each signed by the author, Robert Pinsky, and artist / printer, Caryl Seidenberg, hand-numbered, all on Arches Cover paper. 4to, [i-xii] 13pp; plus colophon. Page size: 9-7/8 x 9-1/2". Bound by Campbell-Logan Bindery in tan cloth with inset white paper label printed in black with title and author, paper label on spine, endpapers of Nepalese Lokta paper, new. Frank Bidart, in the Foreword, tells us that Reb Nachman is Pinsky's Faust and this is one of the poet's two verse narratives. Set in 16 point Eusebius, "lightly spiced with Andromaque, an uncial designed by Victor Hammer." Illustrated with ink drawings translated to polymer plates, the entire work was printed by Caryl Seidenberg at The Vixen Press. It is a lovely book.
