Single sheet, measuring 12 x 9 in., printed on medium blue paper. Black lettering, in various sizes and typefaces. Some breaks at margins, slightly extending into a letter or two; chipping along top & bottom edges (no loss of text); faint old staining along edges, but lettering bright. The broadside states the Chancery Court's intention to offer for sale, on Monday, April 8, 1867, one lot of ground in the town of Jackson, in Butler's Addition, to settle the cause of Martha A. Butler vs. Richard Duckham. Signed in type by Thos. Clark, Clerk & Master; and Bullock & Brown, Sols., March 7, 1867.
