He claimed to, ' ... cure deformed limbs, curved spines, hip disease, white swellings, and club feet, without cutting cords or any surgical operation .... ' The inner two pages of the circular are appx. 100 woodcut illustrations.The prospective patient could compare his condition to that of the example in order to determine if he or she were treatable.The other two pages are given over to testimonials and an address to the afflicted about their treatment. Mann maintained premises in both New York and Boston and commuted between them (he was in New York Saturday through Monday).
