An excellent reference that contains a quantity of medical cures and aids. The medical information is distributed throughout the text accompanied by recipes for paints, wines, 'waters', bread, dyes etc.. This is one of the most eclectic compilations I have encountered. The editor states in the preface that many European sources have been used and that much of the material had never been published in America. S & S #6310.
