Small Square 8vo. Contemporary powder blue linen, green pictorial paper label, yellow coated endpapers. Some minor soiling and dampstaining, label rubbed and torn but intact. Apparently the First Edition. Divides the trades into different categories: "Arts Relative to the Supply of Food" (The Grain Farmer, The Miller, The Baker, The Confectioner, The Brewer, etc.), "Arts Relative to Providing Shelter" (The Mason, Woodcutter, Carpenter, Upholsterer, Architecture, etc.), "Arts Relative to Clothing" (The Wool-Spinner, Weaver, The Tailor, Furriery, Wig-Maker, etc.), "Arts Relative to Traveling" (The Saddler, The Farrier, The Wheelwright, Road-making, Navigation, Cooper, etc.), "Arts Relative to the Mineral Kingdom" (Mining, Gas Works, Welding, Coining, The Sculptor, Porcelain, etc.), "The Liberal Arts" (Engraving, Lithography, Paper-making, Type-Foundry, Printing, Bookbinding, The Bookseller, etc.).
