PARDON ME, SIR -DO YOU OWN A CAR?", The American Weekly, 1936, first edition of this 22 1/2" x 18 3/4" advertisement which appeared in the June 15, 1936 edition glued to a 15 1/2" x 9 3/4" heavy stock cover with "A SURVEY DISCLOSED THE FACTS!" printed on the lower right corner of the cover. There is some wrinkling to the upper portion of the glossy paper else a near fine copy. There is slight staining from the envelope clasp on the rear cover. The ad includes a partial list of important advertisers in The American Weekly during 1934, 1935 and 1936. Enclosed in the original mailing envelope.
