Paris: Favre, An 1X [1801]. A lovely copy of this extremely detailed Napoleonic guide to Paris for 1801. This little book is a mine of information on Paris at the very beginning of the nineteenth century, with descriptions of a vast variety of buildings, cultural entities such as the opera and theatres, and also commercial enterprises. A very good copy in unsophisticated condition. OCLC only lists two copies in libraries worldwide.
