Signed presentation from Nevins on the front endpaper, to the future mayor of Toledo, Ohio: "To Chas. M. Milroy, with the compliments of Nevin O. Winter. Toledo, Ohio. Feb. 11th, 1909." Milroy was a prominent lawyer in Toledo and a trustee of Toledo University. He was the city's mayor during 1916 and 1917. Milroy was the Presiding Judge of the Lucas County Common Pleas Court until his death in 1931. Very Good (covers bright but with bit of soil; contents clean & tight). $150.00.
