A travelogue of a Mr. & Mrs. Herring on their three-week voyage from San Francisco aboard the steamship "Governor" to Alaska and parts of British Columbia: Seattle, Metlakatla, Ketchikan, Kootnaboo, Killisnoo, Sitka, Skagway and many other locations. Illustrated with great photographic images of people, places and ships. Interesting local accounts along the route, including encounters with other ships like the "S.S. Spokane." Signed presentation from Wilson on the front endpaper: "To Ed Schrader, from yours very truly, James A. Wilson. Feb. 23rd, 1909." Very Good (some rubbing & minor stains covers; some light dampstaining to upper corners of first few and last few pages). Scarce, especially signed!!! $250.00.
