Scarce first printing of the diary of the Archbishop of Puebla, recalling events of the religious persecution in Mexico in 1927. During that time he was exiled for two years in Texas, as were most Mexican Catholic Bishops. "...advertimos que al dar el nombre de mártires a algunos de los sacerdotes y fieles, sacrificados en la actual persecución religiosa en México, ...." In Spanish. A second edition was issued in 1929.
