Newmar (b. 1930), tall blonde American actress; film career from 1955 ("Seven Brides for Seven Brothers," 1955; "MacKenna's Gold," 1968; etc.); also appeared in the role of Catwoman in the television series "Batman" (1965-67). Skolsky (1905-83), noted Hollywood columnist, who became a close friend and confidante to Marilyn Monroe; he wrote the first Monroe biography in 1954, and continued to publicize her throughout her early career..
