Portfolio of cloth and marbled boards, printed paper label to cover. Color facsimile, 4 page printed introduction by the printers, 14 loose printed sheets and gatherings. Minor darkening to top front edge of folder. A fine copy. The 4 page introduction is titled, "Pages from Various Books Printed at the Grabhorn Press, San Francisco, 1928-1940." On the inside of the front cover of the portfolio is a facsimile in color of an early San Francisco view. Some copies were sent to the American Institute of Graphic Arts for the opening of the Grabhorn exhibition. The number of leaves included varied according to the whim of the printers, usually about fifteen, but some copies containing as few as 10 leaves. Our copy has 14. Includes leaves from "The Voyage and Travaile of Sir John Maundevile" (1928); "Regulations..." (1929); "Cabeca de Vaca" (1929); "Wah-To-Yah and the Taos Trail" (1936); "Bibliography of the Grabhorn Press" (1940), etc. [Grabhorn Bibliography: 350]..
