Tan cloth-backed blue/gray boards, gilt. A fine copy. This California poet was born in San Jose and attended schools in San Francisco. Hazel Snell Schreiber was a past president of the Ina Coolbrith Circle, a member of the California Writers Club, and a member of the San Francisco branch of the National League of American Pen Women. She won numerous prizes for poetry in contests conducted by the various Clubs, as well as wining prizes for her short stories, humorous verse, and non-fiction. Hazel died in 1957.
