The first 300 pages cover the Mother Lode as well as mines, mining, and resources in each of the California counties; the next 130 pages contain vital information on Nevada and its counties with much important information on the Comstock Lode, the Sutro Tunnel, etc. Also covers the mines, mining and resources of Arizona, Utah, Montana, Idaho, Washington Territory, Oregon, and Alaska. The last section covers Foreign States and Territories including Lower California, Mexico, South America (Peru, Bolivia, Chili, Brazil) and the British Possessions (British Columbia, Australia, Victoria, New South Wales, New Zealand) and the Russian Possessions (Siberia).
