A gorgeous book, divided into 7 chapters touching on subjects regarding the history of water-colour painting, and the society, in Britain; also discusses papers, pigments, and palettes. The entire title actually reads: British Water-Colour Art in the First Year of the Reign of King Edward the Seventh, and During the Century Covered by the Life of the Royal Society of Painters in Water Colours.
