Authoritative work by Thomas Denman dedicated to Dr. Thomas Savage,"... on preternatural labours-on labours attended with hemorrhage-and with convulsions." Usual age wearing throughout binding. Wear to corners. Two small stamps "Allen Staples", and signature of previous owner on title-page. Discoloration to outer edges of front-and rear endpaper. Free front endpaper pulled on fore-edge. Minor foxing throughout. Overall good condition. The author was one of the most scientific and experienced practitioners in England in this field at the time. This work followed Denman's excellent work "Introduction to Midwifery. (Inventory #: 17737)
