Final page has the publisher's information in Japanese with the original price of .50 Yen. Strikingly illustrated with 9 b/w maps, 5 of which are fold out. Book accurately chronicles the invasion of Manchuria by the Imperial Japanese Army, which began on September 19 1931, immediately following the Mukden Incident, which marked the beginning of the Second Sino-Japanese War. The Japanese occupation of Manchuria would lasted until the end of World War II. Contents include: I. "Battle of the Nonni," II. "Battle of Anganhchi," III. "Tientsin Incident," IV. "Chinchow Episode," "V. "Harbin Campaign," Vi. "Japanese Casualties," the last chapter having a graph at the end displaying the statistical data. Sunning & tearing to wrappers. Front wrapper missing small piece of bottom right hand corner. Rear wrapper detached but present. Wraps in poor, interior in very good condition.
