Tail of spine and corners slightly bumped. Dj in fair condition. Book in very good condition. Alexander Altmann was an Orthodox rabbi and academic scholar, who taught at Brandeis University. He is perhaps best known for his biography of Moses Mendelssohn. Altmann also wrote extensively on medieval Jewish philosophy, most notably Maimonides, but Saadiah Gaon and Isaac Israeli as well.
