Walker provides an exhaustive collection of architectural drawings for the parish churches of Fifeshire, Scotland. The author writes: "The smaller Pari Churches, of less repute, but surely of equal interest to the nation, have, however, had scant justice bestowed upon them; they have been even more barbaously treated than the Cathedrals and Abbeys in times past, and are now sorely impaired by neglect." Pre-Reformation Churches includes plans, detail and elevations for the Churches of Saint Patrick, Kirkcaldy, Church of S. Bridget, Dalgety, and more.
