Major headline is "Giant Tidal Waves Whip U. S., Hawaii. Monster Walls of Water Sweep across the Pacific at 300 Miles per Hour. The tsunami, caused by an massive earthquake near the Aleutian Islands killed 159 people when it struck Hawaii about five hours later. It is described online as the largest wave to hit Hawaii in modern history.
