An appeal for the donation of vegetables for soldiers in the Union Army. The vegetables ("Potatoes, Onions, Pickles, Sour-krout, Dried Fruit, &c, &c.") were to be shipped to the Chairman in care of Dutcher, Ball & Goodrich at 103 East Water Street in Milwaukee. "If any prefer to give Shirts, Drawers, Socks, or any other serviceable articles, let them do so. Money, of course, we always want." This uncommon broadside flyer is signed in type at end by Walter S. Carter (Chairman), John A. Dutcher (Treasurer) and (truncated) D. W. Perkins (Secretary). (Inventory #: 69773)
